The procedure for applying for an entry visa of the Republic of Cyprus at the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Cyprus in the Republic of Armenia
Scheduling an appointment
You can apply for an entry visa to the Republic of Cyprus no earlier than 6 months and no later than 4 weeks before the planned flight date.
To submit an application, you need to make an appointment. Making an appointment is name-specific and the names cannot be modified.
To make an appointment write a letter to consulate@cyprus.am, specifying only the following information: name, surname, passport number of the applicant(s), date of planned flight, contact information of the person presenting the package(s): name, surname, telephone number. There is no need to attach a passport, airline ticket, hotel reservations, invitation and other documents to the letter.
Scheduling an appointment in any other way is not possible.
Within 1-2 working days, we will reply with a day and time for submission of the document package.
Appointments are scheduled in the order of receipt of letters. There is no need to write a letter with the same content more than once.
In case of unavailability of vacant slots, we will reply within 1 working day informing you about it.
Cancellation of appointment
To cancel the appointment, write a letter to the e-mail address consulate@cyprus.am at least 2 days before the appointment.
Failure to show up while not having the appointment canceled will be considered disrespectful and will certainly be taken into account in the future.
Delivery of a package of documents
On the day and time of the appointment, the package of documents for each applicant (the list of required documents is given below) must be submitted to: 1 Northern Avenue, "Nord" Business Center, office 18, at that the presence of the applicant is not mandatory.
Please make sure that all necessary documents are present in the package.
Documents should be submitted in the specified order, with copies of all documents on A4-size paper. Please do not staple, bind or put the documents in transparent or other folders.
Application review
When planning your trip, keep in mind that the review of the application takes 15 working days, during which passports are not returned.
Applications for a travel date less than 3 weeks before the flight date are not accepted.
The office does not provide information about the application process and status.
List of required documents:

entry visa application-questionnaire completed in English, one printed copy. At the end of the application, the date, place and signature of the applicant must be present. In case of minors, one of the parents must sign the application indicating next to the signature whether the signer is the father or the mother by writing "father" or "mother"

2 new color photos, 3.5x4.5 cm, against a light background, one of the photos must be attached to the application

the original of a valid travel document, international, diplomatic or service passport, which must be valid for at least 90 days after the date of departure from the Republic of Cyprus and have at least 2 blank pages in the visa section for entry visa and stamps

copies of all pages of a valid travel passport containing information as well as copies of Schengen and Cyprus visas issued in the previous 3 years including other passports (including invalid ones) and corresponding entry and exit stamps. If the applicant is also a citizen of another country or has more than one valid passport, it is necessary to submit copies of their pages containing information

Applicants who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia must submit the original and a copy of the document confirming the right of legal residence in the Republic of Armenia, for example, a temporary, permanent or special residence card, a work permit in the Republic of Armenia, a registration document in the Republic of Armenia, etc.

Air ticket reservation (in case of airport transit, tickets for the entire trip are required)

Document confirming residence in Cyprus

Hotel reservation - Letter printed on the hotel's letterhead with a stamp and signature of the manager or - Printed confirmation from an online booking system (booking.com, Airbnb, other)
Important:
- The travel days must match the booking days
- Reservations must include contact information of the place of residence in Cyprus (exact address, telephone number) and the names and surnames of all applicants for an entry visa (if the reservation confirmation is issued for several persons, a copy of this confirmation must be attached to each application)
- in case of air transit, there is no need to submit a hotel reservation

Copies of the registration certificate, sales contract or lease agreement for real estate in Cyprus
Important:
- The sales contract must be certified and contain the appropriate stamps of the Cyprus Property Registration Authority (a copy of the first page with the seller's and buyer's information, the address of the property and the oval stamp "ΕΤΟΡΟΣ ΤΕΛΩΝ ΧΑΡΤΟΣΗΜΟΥ" and a copy of the last page with the certified signatures of the parties)
- The duration of the trip to Cyprus must be within the terms of the rental agreement

In case of invitation: - the completed form "Assumption of responsibility for hosting" (Assumption of Responsibility) - a copy of the identity card or passport of the Republic of Cyprus of the inviter who signed the form - if the inviter is not a citizen of the Republic of Cyprus, a copy of the main page of the travel passport of the inviter and a copy of the document confirming the right of legal residence in the Republic of Cyprus - copies of documents regarding the inviter's real estate in the Republic of Cyprus
Important:
- the signature of the inviter must be certified by a notary or other authorized body of the Republic of Cyprus
- the inviter can also get his/her signature certified at any consulate or embassy of the Republic of Cyprus by appearing in person
- if the invitation is approved in the Republic of Cyprus, a scanned and printed copy is acceptable
- if the invitee is a relative of the inviter, appropriate confirmation must be presented (e.g. birth or marriage certificate)
- if the invitation is from a company, a letter is required on company letterhead, which summarizes the purpose of the visit, the name and surname of the invitee. The invitation and the letter must be signed by the same employee of the company, indicating his/her position.
- if the invitation is from a government organization and participation in official events (e.g. sports competitions) is expected, the "Assumption of responsibility for hosting" form is not required. An official letter submitted by the inviter briefly stating the purpose of the visit, the name and surname of the invitee, the dates of the trip and the address of residence in Cyprus is sufficient. In addition, a similar letter must be provided by the organization the entry visa applicant represents, stating the purpose of the visit, including the name and surname of the applicant(s), date of birth, passport number and dates of travel.

Proof of employment, income and/or means of subsistence for the duration of the planned visit:
- reference from the workplace (indicating the amount of salary and position), from educational institution, proof of pension
- if not employed, other proofs of livelihood, for example, references from the workplaces of spouse, parents or children,
- bank account statement for the last three months not older than 14 days
- statement of bank account balances not older than 14 days
- in case of a sole proprietor, an extract from the State Register of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice, not older than 14 days

In case of a minor applicant under 18 years of age:
- copy of birth certificate
- if the applicant will travel: with one of his/her parents, a notarized consent from the other parent is required with a third person, a notarized consent from both parents certified by a notary is required alone (in case of a minor over 16 years old), a notarized consent from both parents is required.

Travel insurance certificate with a minimum coverage of at least 30,000 Euros for medical expenses. The insurance should cover any expenses that may arise in connection with emergency medical care, hospital treatment, repatriation due to medical reasons or death. It should include the Republic of Cyprus, as well as all countries member of the Schengen Agreement. The insurance period must cover the entire period of stay in the Republic of Cyprus.
All documents must be submitted in English or Greek. If the documents are in another language, their official translations in English or Greek (with a translator’s stamp) must be submitted.
In case of multiple applicants, a separate package of documents must be submitted for each one, containing all necessary copies (passports, reservations, airline tickets, invitations, documents from the inviter, proof of kinship, etc.).
The office has the right to request any additional documents upon the preliminary review of the Republic of Cyprus entry visa application.
